2012 - 2013 Design Exhibit Schedule
Artistic design and horticultural display judging takes place during our monthly meetings. For proper judging, please have your displays in place by 7:15 p.m. Judging begins at 7:30 p.m. sharp and results will be announced before the meeting begins.

Artistic Design Exhibits
Theme: Summer Harvest
Challenge
A design using a vegetable or vegetables as the main focus of the design.
Intermediate
A vertical line design incorporating fruit or vegetables into the design.
Novice
A small design in a basket using seasonal flowers and herbs, no larger than 8 inches in any direction.

Theme: Ghouls and Goblins
Challenge
A Halloween arrangement using dried and fresh material to create a centerpiece suitable for a fireplace mantel.
Intermediate
A triangular arrangement using fall branches and/or gourds and pumpkins along with seasonal flowers.
Novice
A seasonal arrangement in a basket for a shut-in. Accessories may be used.

Challenge
A cone-shaped design using fresh flowers, greens and other natural materials.
Intermediate
A horizontal wreath design using fruit, nuts and other natural materials for a holiday table centerpiece. A candle or candles may be used.
Novice
A seasonal evergreen door wreath. A ribbon may be used. (A wreath made at the MGC Wreath Making Workshop may be entered.)
