A 2008 Star Ledger article referred to us as the "Big Momma" of community plant sales in NJ. Proceeds from the sale support our activites in Maplewood: scholarships, beautification, youth gardening, education...
Our plant selections are made by experienced Maplewood gardeners, some of whom have been living (and experimenting) here for decades.
Member Grown is a popular category of plants donated by members — plants that do so well in Maplewood that they have grown big and healthy enough to split and share.
Our members will be on hand throughout the sale to answer your gardening questions and help you make appropriate selections.

Herbs, Vegetables, MGC-grown Heirloom Tomatoes

For ease of shopping, we suggest you bring a garden cart or child's wagon (we have no shopping carts) and large boxes for gathering your selections and packing for their trip home to your garden.
