May Design Exhibit!

THEME: Painting with Flowers

Each month we will use a famous painting as the inspiration for our floral designs. Look at each painting and be inspired by not just the colors and composition the artist used, but also the textures, depth, and movement of the eye they achieved.   A specific artist and their painting will be featured each month.   May’s artist is Pablo Picasso with the painting Les Desmoiselles d’Avignon.

Hilton Rain Garden Cleanup

Join us in cleaning up the Hilton Rain Garden located adjacent to the Maplewood Memorial Hilton Branch Library. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity and a chance to meet new members. Once a year we need help in preparing the space for the new season, so I’m asking you to come and lend a hand.    Many hands make light work. Please bring a kneeling pad, gloves, and clippers.

Due to our Rain Garden doing its job we had to cancel the last event.  The new date is 27-April at 10AM (rain date is 28th).  Contact Bill Kohlman if you have questions.
